This Academy Award nominated feature stars Barbara Stanwyck as a burlesque performing entertaining at a Broadway theater in the 1930's. While trying to make a success of herself, the dancer is trying to avoid the unwanted advances of a comedian and the bitter rivalry she's developed with some of the other dancers. When two murders occur at the show house that make her look like the guilty party, our dancer must team up with the comedian to discover whose committing the murders and framing her for the crimes
